Christmas traceroute
A static traceroute uses reverse-DNS names to reveal a Christmas tree, with each hop adding another branch to the seasonal picture.
This version uses reverse DNS names to make a route say “Ho Ho Ho”. It is a small seasonal variation on the musical and narrative traceroute pattern.
The mechanics remain ordinary traceroute output. The effect comes entirely from the names assigned to the responding hops.
